Leaving Babylon Part 3

(Shalom! This video was made early in our journey. We realize now, that replacing the name יהוה is transgression of Torah by adding to and taking away from it. We now do NOT do this, but as stated above, we were on a journey and at the time this video was made, we did NOT have this revelation. Thanks for understanding! Shalom.)

So, if Yeshua came to “testify to the truth”, what truth was he talking about?? Pilot obviously didn’t know! Maybe the Scriptures say something about this “mysterious” truth! Let look!

Exodus 18:19-21

Now listen to me: I will give you counsel, and God be with you. You be the people’s representative before God, and you bring the disputes to God, then teach them the statutes and the laws, and make known to them the way in which they are to walk and the work they are to do. Furthermore, you shall select out of all the people able men who fear God, men of truth, those who hate dishonest gain; and you shall place these over them as leaders of thousands, of hundreds, of fifties and of tens. (Exodus 18:19-21 NASB)

So we know truth has an important role in Leadership!
Let’s look at another passage!

Exodus 32:4

He is the Rock, his work is perfect: for all his ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is he. (Deuteronomy 32:4 KJV)

So we see here that this truth is a characteristic of Yehovah himself! His ways are judgement, God of truth! So could his ways be truth as well?? Let’s look at some more scripture! After all, we should let scripture define itself right?? I mean there are a lot of interpretations out there that are just that, mans interpretation! So maybe we should stop believing what man says, and start believing what God said!
Let’s read some of what David had to say!

Psalm 25:1-10

To You, O Yehovah, I lift up my soul. O my God, in You I trust, Do not let me be ashamed; Do not let my enemies exult over me. Indeed, none of those who wait for You will be ashamed; Those who deal treacherously without cause will be ashamed. Make me know Your ways, O Yehovah; Teach me Your paths. Lead me in Your truth and teach me, For You are the God of my salvation; For You I wait all the day. Remember, O Yehovah, Your compassion and Your lovingkindnesses, For they have been from of old. Do not remember the sins of my youth or my transgressions; According to Your lovingkindness remember me, For Your goodness’ sake, O Yehovah. Good and upright is the Yehovah; Therefore He instructs sinners in the way. He leads the humble in justice, And He teaches the humble His way. All the paths of the Yehovah are lovingkindness and truth To those who keep His covenant and His testimonies. (Psalms 25:1-10 NASB)

Wow, that was a long one! Are you still with me? Good, well let’s unpack this verse!

Make me know your ways, lead me in truth??

This sounds like maybe his way is truth, right?
He also says YEHOVAH’S compassion and loving kindness are from old! I thought the God of the Old Testament was all about wrath, and then Jesus came and changed that! Uh oh, I’m beginning to get the fealing that I may have been taught someone’s opinion and not the actual truth!

He instructs sinners in “the way” and leads the humble in Justice and teaches the humble his way.

Could this mean that His way is truth??
David goes on to say this,

All the paths of Yehovah are lovingkindness and truth.

Does this statement apply to everyone?? Oh wait we have to keep reading!

He says this applies to a specific group of people!

To those who keep His covenant and His testimonies. (Psalms 25:10)

Wow! I thought the old was done away with and the new was brought in with Jesus! I’m beginning to think this Jesus guy isn’t the same as Yeshua the messiah! I mean, Yeshua came to testify to the truth, to save that which was lost! To restore the things of old! The Jesus that’s preached in the Christian church today, came to do away with all of the old. But I’m still a little confused! If it was impossible to follow the commands of God, why did David love his ways?? Maybe His Law is the truth that Yeshua testified to?? Again let’s let scripture define this!

Psalm 119:139-144

My zeal has consumed me, Because my adversaries have forgotten Your words. Your word is very pure, Therefore Your servant loves it. I am small and despised, Yet I do not forget Your precepts. Your righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, And Your law is truth. Trouble and anguish have come upon me, Yet Your commandments are my delight. Your testimonies are righteous forever; Give me understanding that I may live. (Psalms 119:139-144 NASB)

Wait, did he just say “your Law is truth”? And that Gods commandments are his delight??
Why are we told that His commands were done away with?? And that his Law was done away with?? The same thing must have been happening in Yeshuas time! Were the religious leaders of the day doing the same thing? Teaching mans opinion rather than the word of Yehovah?? Let see what Yeshua had to say about it!

Matthew 15:1-3

Then some Pharisees and scribes came to Yeshua from Jerusalem and said, “Why do Your disciples break the tradition of the elders? For they do not wash their hands when they eat bread.” And He answered and said to them, “Why do you yourselves transgress the commandment of God for the sake of your tradition? (Matthew 15:1-3 NASB)

So they were judging according to what they thought was true (which by the way washing hands before you eat is not a command of God but that of the rabbis)! Yeshua was judging according to the commandment of God, or TRUTH!
If we go on in this story, Yeshua calls the Pharisees hypocrites and then quotes Isaiah 29.

Matthew 15:7-9

You hypocrites, rightly did Isaiah prophesy of you: ‘T his people honors M e with their lips, B ut their heart is far away from M e. ‘B ut in vain do they worship M e, T eaching as doctrines the precepts of men.'” (Matthew 15:7-9 NASB)

So, what is truth?? Well the bible defines it as “The Torah” (תורה) or Gods Law! David delighted in it, Yeshua and all the disciples walked in it! So why are we taught we don’t have to?? Maybe we have been “teaching as doctrines, the precepts of men!”

So what is good doctrine??

Proverbs 4:1, 2

Hear, my children, the instruction of a father, And give attention to know understanding; For I give you good doctrine: Do not forsake my law. (Proverbs 4:1, 2 NKJV)

Wow! Maybe we should begin to go into the Scriptures and see for ourselves what truth is! I am confident that what we have been taught in church, is NOT truth but precepts of men! It’s definitely time to leave Babylon!

Shabbat Thought

This weeks Shabbat Thought comes from the book of Matthew yet again!

Matthew 7:15-23

“Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves. You will recognize them by their fruits. Are grapes gathered from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? So,every healthy tree bears good fruit, but the diseased tree bears bad fruit. A healthy tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a diseased tree bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Thus you will recognize them by their fruits. “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you who practice lawlessness.’

What is “good” fruit?
What is “bad” fruit?
Who will enter the Kingdom of Heaven?
How does Yeshua describe those who do not enter the Kingdom?
How are we sure that we can enter the Kingdom?

May Yehovah BLESS you as you seek HIS word this Shabbat!
Shabbat Shalom!

Shabbat Thought

This weeks Shabbat Thought comes from Matthew 11….

Matthew 11:28-30
“Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”

Does Yeshua say that in Him there is NO Yoke?
Does He say that the Yoke is “done away with”?
If His yoke is “Light and Easy”, what yoke is “heavy and burdensome”?
Does this verse have anything to do with the TORAH (תורה)?
Are the Fathers ways burdensome and heavy?
Are mans traditions burdensome and heavy?

May Yehovah BLESS you as you seek HIS word this Shabbat!
Shabbat Shalom!

Leaving Babylon Part 2

(Shalom! This video was made early in our journey. We realize now, that replacing the name יהוה is transgression of Torah by adding to and taking away from it. We now do NOT do this, but as stated above, we were on a journey and at the time this video was made, we did NOT have this revelation. Thanks for understanding! Shalom.)

So if the feasts aren’t Jewish, and Solomon said that obeying the Fathers commands applies to every person, why are we told different?? Why for thousands of years has the Christian church taught that the Law of Elohim is subject to our own lifestyles? I mean, if I’m not a farmer, how do the planting instructions in the bible apply to me? And, I have to work on Saturday, so there is NO way I could observe sabbath on that day! And my favorite shirt is not made of 100% cotton!
What we have to begin to realize is this, we have been lied to in order to compromise! Now, this did not happen over night! No, much to the contrary! This happened over thousands of years! I heard a quote once! It said this…
“The enemy will tell you a thousand truths, to get you to believe ONE lie!”
That is so true!
Did the messiah come into this world? YES!
Was he born of a virgin? YES!
Was he an eternal sacrifice for our transgression? YES!
Was he born on December 25? NO!
Did he “do away” with any of the Law? NO!!
We have to begin to understand something. If the enemy can get you to believe that History was different than it actually was, he can get you to go a different direction in the future! This is why the delusion that the church is in today started AFTER Yeshua walked on the earth! This is why satan tempted Eve in the Garden after Elohim told them what they should do! “Did Elohim really say that?” “Surely that’s not what He said!” Satan can’t create anything, so he has to take what Elohim has created and “make” it his own. You see, if the enemy can get us to believe that Elohim meant something different when he made His sabbath a perpetual sign between Him and His people, then the enemy can get us to operate differently in the future! Here’s one. We are told today in the Christian church that the Law was impossible to observe and that Yeshua walked perfectly according to it, so we don’t have to. Sounds like a great deal, right? Almost too good to be true! Let’s see what scripture has to say about it! Let’s go way back in our bibles, even before the good stories of Paul, and look in the Torah.

Deuteronomy 30:11-14

“For this commandment which I command you today is not too difficult for you, nor is it out of reach. It is not in heaven, that you should say, ‘Who will go up to heaven for us to get it for us and make us hear it, that we may observe it?’ Nor is it beyond the sea, that you should say, ‘Who will cross the sea for us to get it for us and make us hear it, that we may observe it?’ But the word is very near you, in your mouth and in your heart, that you may observe it. (Deuteronomy 30:11-14 NASB)

Wait, did that just say it’s NOT TOO DIFFICULT?? Why are we taught that it is?? If the Word is near us, in our heart and in our mouth, that we may observe it, then why did Yeshua come?? This doesn’t sound like the Law is too hard.
Let’s keep reading in Deuteronomy!

Deuteronomy 30:15-18

“See, I have set before you today life and prosperity, and death and adversity; in that I command you today to love Yehovah your Elohim, to walk in His ways and to keep His commandments and His statutes and His judgments, that you may live and multiply, and that Yehovah your Elohim may bless you in the land where you are entering to possess it. But if your heart turns away and you will not obey, but are drawn away and worship other mighty ones and serve them, I declare to you today that you shall surely perish. You will not prolong your days in the land where you are crossing the Jordan to enter and possess it. (Deuteronomy 30:15-18 NASB)

Wait just a minute! This sounds similar to the command in the garden! “The day you eat of that tree, you will surely die!”
So, if Yeshua didn’t come to make it easier on us, or to live according to the Law so we don’t have to, then why did He come?? To save us from our sins, right?? Let’s look at His words when he was before Pilot about to be killed.

John 18:37, 38

Therefore Pilate said to Him, “So You are a king?” Yeshua answered, “You say correctly that I am a king. For this I have been born, and for this I have come into the world, to testify to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth hears My voice.” Pilate said to Him, “What is truth?” And when he had said this, he went out again to the Jews and said to them, “I find no guilt in Him. (John 18:37, 38 NASB)

To testify to truth?? That’s not what I was taught in VBS! What is truth?!!! Maybe in order to find out, we have to leave Babylon!

Leaving Babylon Part 1

(Shalom! This video was made early in our journey. We realize now, that replacing the name יהוה is transgression of Torah by adding to and taking away from it. We now do NOT do this, but as stated above, we were on a journey and at the time this video was made, we did NOT have this revelation. Thanks for understanding! Shalom.)

If the Moral Law is all that applies today, then why do we encourage tithe? Tithing is not a New Testament command. In fact in the Jerusalem council, in Acts chapter 15, they say that the Gentiles only have to observe 4 commands. Stay away from things contaminated by idols, from fornication, from what is strangled, and from blood. Where is tithing?? If this is what applies to the Gentiles, maybe tithing is just for the Jews?? After all the feasts and celebrations ARE only for the Jews, right?? Let’s check the scriptures!
Leviticus 23:
Yehovah spoke again to Moses, saying, “Speak to the sons of Israel and say to them, ‘Yehovah’s appointed times which you shall proclaim as holy convocations-My appointed times are these: (Leviticus 23:1, 2 NASB)
Wait, hold on a second! Did the Father just say that they are HIS appointed times?? So if they are His, do they apply to everyone or just the Jews??
Ecclesiastes 12:12-14
But beyond this, my son, be warned: the writing of many books is endless, and excessive devotion to books is wearying to the body. The conclusion, when all has been heard, is: fear God and keep His commandments, because this applies to every person. For God will bring every act to judgment, everything which is hidden, whether it is good or evil. (Ecclesiastes 12:12-14 NASB)
So His commands apply to “every person? Wow! Does this sound different than what you have heard in church?? The local baptist church in my town teaches that these feasts are not part of the “moral” law and therefore do not apply anymore. This line of thought would have to believe the same thing for tithing as well!
The truth is this! All who want to follow of Yeshua, gentile or native Israelite, have to leave mans tradition and step into true Israel!
Exodus 12:49
The same law shall apply to the native as to the stranger who sojourns among you.” (Exodus 12:49 NASB)
Leviticus 24:22
There shall be one standard for you; it shall be for the stranger as well as the native, for I am the Yehovah your Elohim.'” (Leviticus 24:22 NASB)
Numbers 9:14
If an alien sojourns among you and observes the Passover to Yehovah, according to the statute of the Passover and according to its ordinance, so he shall do; you shall have one statute, both for the alien and for the native of the land.'” (Numbers 9:14 NASB)
Numbers 15:15,16
As for the assembly, there shall be one statute for you and for the alien who sojourns with you, a perpetual statute throughout your generations; as you are, so shall the alien be before Yehovah. There is to be one law and one ordinance for you and for the alien who sojourns with you.'” (Numbers 15:15, 16 NASB)
Numbers 15:29-31
You shall have one law for him who does anything unintentionally, for him who is native among the sons of Israel and for the alien who sojourns among them. But the person who does anything defiantly, whether he is native or an alien, that one is blaspheming Yehovav; and that person shall be cut off from among his people. Because he has despised the word of Yehovah and has broken His commandment, that person shall be completely cut off; his guilt will be on him.'” (Numbers 15:29-31 NASB)
So, does the Law of god apply to ALL PEOPLE?? In babylon, you are told that it doesn’t! But the scriptures day something drastically different!
Let’s look at Acts 15 again and keep reading starting with the “4” commands.
Acts 15:19-21
Therefore it is my judgment that we do not trouble those who are turning to God from among the Gentiles, but that we write to them that they abstain from things contaminated by idols and from fornication and from what is strangled and from blood. For Moses from ancient generations has in every city those who preach him, since he is read in the synagogues every Sabbath.” (Acts 15:19-21 NASB)
Wait, they were in synagogues on the Sabbath??
I’m beginning to think that it’s time to leave Babylon!

Shabbat Part 4

(Shalom! This video was made early in our journey. We realize now, that replacing the name יהוה is transgression of Torah by adding to and taking away from it. We now do NOT do this, but as stated above, we were on a journey and at the time this video was made, we did NOT have this revelation. Thanks for understanding! Shalom.)

OK! So, here we go! This is our 4th and Final Teaching in our Shabbat Series “for now”. We have been so blessed to be able to share with you what Yehovah has shown us this past year, and we hope that you have been blessed as well! I wanted to remind you of some resources regarding the Truth of Scripture. 119ministries.com is a great site that contains TONS of teaching on the validity of the ENTIRE bible. They have been teaching for a while now and their videos are great! Also, I wanted to share with you another ministry that is teaching the TRUTH of Scripture! Biblical Foundations Academy International, bfainternational.com, is a very good resource as well. They have video teachings on the Feasts as well as the biblical calendar, and much more! So head over to those two websites for some awesome resources that will help you in your journey towards TRUTH!
Alright, lets begin!
We have talked about how Constantine changed the Biblical Shabbat from the 7th day to the 1st day. This is the way Christianity observes sabbath, according to Constantine, and not the Bible. It is interesting to see how people over the centuries have lost sight of the simple command to “Remember THE Sabbath.” The 4th commandment is Remember the Sabbath day, to Keep it Holy. So what does this mean?? lets break it down! Remember! This word implies that we should be looking back to something specific, right?! So what is he telling us to look back to??
Exodus 20:11
For in six days Yehovah made the heavens and the earth, the sea and all that is in them, and rested on the seventh day; therefore Yehovah blessed the sabbath day and made it holy.
So we see that here, Yehovah is telling us that He Himself rested on the Sabbath day, which is the seventh day of the week. He also says that He made it Holy. Holy, what is this word?? How do we “keep” something holy?? I think too often we read words out of Scripture with our own definitions, when actually what we need to be doing is letting Scripture define itself. Lets look at what the word Holy means. We get this word from the Hebrew word קדש “choDESH”. It simply means “Set apart”. So this would mean that this specific day is to be “set apart” from all other days. It is not to be like ANY other day. Lets dig in a little deeper! The word “sabbath” comes from the hebrew word ‘Shabbat” and Literally means “cease from exertion”. This is why we are to rest on the 7th day. זכור את יום השבת לחדשו “zaKOR et YOM hashabBAT lechadSHO”. In english, “Remember the Sabbath day to keep it Holy”. I think its important to remember that Yehovah Himself made Shabbat Holy. So we do not have to do anything to the day in order to make it Holy! It already is. He just asks us to KEEP it that way! One of the biggest arguments I receive when talking about the Torah is that I am casting heavy burdens on people by making them feel like they have to observe His commands! Is keeping something that already is perfect and Holy, burdensome?? NO!!!! It is so easy!! Just don’t mess with it and it is Holy!! The problem is that Constantine Messed with it! Therefore, the sabbath that Christianity “keeps” is NOT holy! They have forgotten Yehovah’s Sabbath, which already is Holy!
So lets wrap this up, Remember the Sabbath, to keep it holy. We need to remember His sabbath day, and not mess with it in order to make it fit our lives better. It is already Holy! We must REMEMBER that! Shabbat is not just all about rest though! yes the word Shabbat means “rest’ but lets look at another Scripture passage and see what it has to say about Shabbat!
Leviticus 23:1-3
Yehovah spoke again to Moses, saying, “Speak to the sons of Israel and say to them, ‘Yehovah’s appointed times which you shall proclaim as holy convocations-My appointed times are these: ‘For six days work may be done, but on the seventh day there is a sabbath of complete rest, “A HOLY CONVOCATION”. You shall not do any work; it is a sabbath to YEHOVAH in all your dwellings.
So we see a similar instruction here in Leviticus. Rest! But what is this ‘HOLY CONVOCATION’. Well the Hebrew here says מיקרהי קדש “mikraE choDESH”. We have already looked at the word קדש “choDESH” which means set apart. So what does the hebrew Word מיקרה “miKRA” mean?? It means a gathering of people! We are not only supposed to rest on Shabbat, but it is important that we fellowship with fellow believers! I am not refering to those who deny the Torah, but those who delight in it!! We as humans need brothers and sisters around us holding us accountable! This is why we are to meet together on Shabbat! In our community here, we meet at sundown the 6th day, which is the Start of Shabbat, and also on Shabbat morning. It is such a blessed time! We have NO agenda except to rest in HIS word and focus on HIM!
So, how do we observe a biblical shabbat?? 1st, we set apart the day in which Yehovah Himself set apart, the 7th day. 2nd we rest! our bodies need it! 3rd, we gather with fellow followers who are delighting in the Word of Yehovah, and set our agendas aside in order to find HIS! Shabbat is a beautiful blessing when we observe it the way it was intended! REMEMBER, Shabbat, the way Yehovah set it up, IS ALREADY HOLY! Rest in His TRUE Shalom on the Set apart day that HE chose, and you ARE keeping it Holy!
His ways, days and words are better than ours! It is time to fight to ‘KEEP” His ways Holy! His true Shabbat is a sign between us and Yehovah, proving that we trust in His ways over mans! Go in His Peace, Rest on His Day, and Follow His truth! That is the evidence that you Love HIM.

Shalom.

Shabbat Part 3

(Shalom! This video was made early in our journey. We realize now, that replacing the name יהוה is transgression of Torah by adding to and taking away from it. We now do NOT do this, but as stated above, we were on a journey and at the time this video was made, we did NOT have this revelation. Thanks for understanding! Shalom.)

Ok, this is our 3rd teaching on the Biblical Shabbat in our Sabbath teaching! We have been so blessed by what Yehovah is teaching us about His days! If you have any questions regarding Shabbat or any other Scriptural topic please feel free to email us or contact us on Facebook! The Called Out Video Channel is here to help us learn the TRUE meaning behind Yehovah’s word, and to unlearn the manmade traditions and doctrines that we have been raised with!
I Also recommend that you head over to 119ministries.com. They believe that the Entire BIBLE is true and applicable to all believers and have been teaching this stuff longer than I have, so they have tons of resources on TRUTH.
That being said, lets begin!
One of the main arguments that I receive when discussing a Biblical Sabbath, is that “Jesus” broke the Sabbath!
Matthew 12:1-8
At that time Yeshua went through the grain fields on the Sabbath, and His disciples became hungry and began to pick the heads of grain and eat. But when the Pharisees saw this, they said to Him, “Look, Your disciples do what is not lawful to do on a Sabbath.” But He said to them, “Have you not read what David did when he became hungry, he and his companions, how he entered the house of God, and they ate the consecrated bread, which was not lawful for him to eat nor for those with him, but for the priests alone? Or have you not read in the Law, that on the Sabbath the priests in the temple break the Sabbath and are innocent? But I say to you that something greater than the temple is here. But if you had known what this means, ‘I desire compassion, and not a sacrifice,’ you would not have condemned the innocent. For the Son of Man is Lord of the Sabbath.” (Matthew 12:1-8 NASB)
One thing that we MUST understand before we start studying the TORAH, or “God’s Instruction”, is that there was also rabbinical Law, or Man Made Tradition, that was being observed as well! Its much the same in the Christian church today! Church of Christ says you cant use Musical instruments in Worship, Some baptist and wesleyan Churches say you cant dance, Many churches beleive you cant drink alcohol! and none of these traditions are bad within themselves! The problem is that most of these traditions are taught as “Truth” when in all actuality they are opinion. Its the truth that we are not to get drunk on alcohol, and by NOT drinking that will help us in that instruction! The problem is, when NOT Drinking is preached as truth, and the Bible says wine is good for the stomach, we have a contradiction! HIS TRUTH DOES NOT CONTRADICT ITSELF! The Rabbis of the Bible times were the exact same! They built “Fences” around the Torah in order to help them observe all of Yehovahs instruction. The problem was, over the years, the “Fences” took priority over the Scripture! Yeshua rebuked the Pharisees in Matthew 15.
Starting in verse 1…
Then some Pharisees and scribes came to Yeshua from Jerusalem and said, “Why do Your disciples break the tradition of the elders? For they do not wash their hands when they eat bread.” And He answered and said to them, “Why do you yourselves transgress the commandment of God for the sake of your tradition? For God said, ‘Honor your father and mother,’ and, ‘He who speaks evil of father or mother is to be put to death.’ But you say, ‘Whoever says to his father or mother, “Whatever I have that would help you has been given to God, ” he is not to honor his father or his mother.’ And by this you invalidated the word of God for the sake of your tradition. You hypocrites, rightly did Isaiah prophesy of you: ‘This people honors Me with their lips, But their heart is far away from Me. ‘But in vain do they worship M e, Teaching as doctrines the precepts of men.'” (Matthew 15:2-9 NASB)
So, did the disciples break the LAW of God by not washing their hands??ABSOLUTELY NOT!! In verse 2 the Pharisees asked, “Why do your disciples break the TRADITION of the the ELDERS?” So right off the bat, we can understand, that they are NOT breaking the Torah, but just not letting the Doctrines of the rabbis, take authority over Scripture!
All throughout the “New Testament”, when Yeshua is rebuking the Pharisees, he IS NOT rebuking them for following the Torah, but for putting man’s doctrines higher than the Word of Yehovah!
So lets go back and take a look at Matthew 12.
Were Yeshua and His Disciples breaking the Sabbath by plucking a head of grain to eat?? lets go back to the Scripture and read what the actual command is regarding Shabbat!
Exodus 20:8-11
“Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is a sabbath of the Lord your God; in it you shall not do any work, you or your son or your daughter, your male or your female servant or your cattle or your sojourner who stays with you. For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea and all that is in them, and rested on the seventh day; therefore the Lord blessed the sabbath day and made it holy. (Exodus 20:8-11 NASB)
Exodus 31:16-17
Yehovah is speaking to the Sons of Israel,
So the sons of Israel shall observe the sabbath, to celebrate the sabbath throughout their generations as a perpetual covenant.’ It is a sign between Me and the sons of Israel forever; for in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, but on the seventh day He ceased from labor, and was refreshed.” (Exodus 31:16, 17 NASB)
So what does it mean to “not work” on Shabbat?? Well, when we do a study on the Word work, we find that in the Sabbath passages, it is referring to Laborious Work. What is laborious work?? Well, Scripture defines it as occupational or heavy labor. So we would not want to conduct or condone business on shabbat, and we would also not want to be doing heavy lifting. we need to prepare before shabbat the things that would require heavy lifting. Remember the whole point of Shabbat is to be refreshed, and what a blessing it is to rest in the Fathers shalom on the day He intended!
So we find that just as in Matthew 15, the pharisees are also trying to condemn Yeshua and his Disciples in Matthew 12 based on Mans Tradition. If Yeshua’s was actually breaking the Torah, they could have stoned Him on the spot, but because He exposed their lies, they had to leave and conspire against Him. They had no basis to convict Him of anything unlawful because he wasn’t breaking the LAW!!
Sabbath is such a step of faith! As I said in the last video, on Constantine’s sabbath, which is on the exact oposite day of the week, Sunday, he said it was lawful to do work! Thats because Yehovah was not blessing their disobedience!. If we will trust our Father and obey what he has said, we will find that He will bless us! Resting and not working on the 7th day is “not good for business” in this culture, but praise The Lord that we who are HIS don’t have to submit to this culture!! When we do what we want on Shabbat, we are not only denying the truth of Scripture but we are not living by Faith and TRUSTING Yehovah for His provision!

“Well Mitch, thats good for you, because you don’t have a job that REQUIRES you to work on shabbat. But, It would NEVER work for me!”
That statement is a LIE from satan! All you have to do is take a step in faith, and observe Yehovahs Days instead of mans! If you lose your job, do you trust that the Father will provide, or do you want to take your life in your own hands in order to “provide’ on your own! I would hope that you would make the right choice and trust the Father instead of man! We were created to DO what the Father instructed us to do! Any other doctrine is FALSE!!! The church must wake up and remember HIS truth that he spoke LONG AGO! They must STOP submitting to mans ways and receive Yehovahs Blessings by submitting to HIS ways! He is a good Father, but if you choose to live outside His instruction, you will receive nothing that is truly good!
Duet. 30:6-14
“Moreover the Lord your God will circumcise your heart and the heart of your descendants, to love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul, so that you may live. The Lord your God will inflict all these curses on your enemies and on those who hate you, who persecuted you. And you shall again obey the Lord, and observe all His commandments which I command you today. Then the Lord your God will prosper you abundantly in all the work of your hand, in the offspring of your body and in the offspring of your cattle and in the produce of your ground, for the Lord will again rejoice over you for good, just as He rejoiced over your fathers; if you obey the Lord your God to keep His commandments and His statutes which are written in this book of the law, if you turn to the Lord your God with all your heart and soul. (Deuteronomy 30:6-14 NASB)
Duet. 8:11-20
“Beware that you do not forget the Lord your God by not keeping His commandments and His ordinances and His statutes which I am commanding you today; otherwise, when you have eaten and are satisfied, and have built good houses and lived in them, and when your herds and your flocks multiply, and your silver and gold multiply, and all that you have multiplies, then your heart will become proud and you will forget the Lord your God who brought you out from the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery. He led you through the great and terrible wilderness, with its fiery serpents and scorpions and thirsty ground where there was no water; He brought water for you out of the rock of flint. In the wilderness He fed you manna which your fathers did not know, that He might humble you and that He might test you, to do good for you in the end. Otherwise, you may say in your heart, ‘My power and the strength of my hand made me this wealth.’ But you shall remember the Lord your God, for it is He who is giving you power to make wealth, that He may confirm His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day. It shall come about if you ever forget the Lord your God and go after other gods and serve them and worship them, I testify against you today that you will surely perish. Like the nations that the Lord makes to perish before you, so you shall perish; because you would not listen to the voice of the Lord your God. (Deuteronomy 8:11-20 NASB)
Yeshua DID NOT break the Torah, and in fact when asked by Pilot why he came into the world, he said, “To testify to Truth!” I would encourage you to go to the scripture on your own, and test the doctrine that you are submitted to against it, to see if what you beleive is true! Let His word define itself, and dont ask mans opinion on it! Ask THE FATHER! We dont have time for the opinions of man! We need to know TRUTH!
He will, by His spirit, teach you all things if you will submit to Him with the way you LIVE your life. Stop living it the way that works best for you, and start living it according to HIS word! Stop applying scripture to your life, and start applying YOUR LIFE to Scripture!

Shabbat Part 2

(Shalom! This video was made early in our journey. We realize now, that replacing the name יהוה is transgression of Torah by adding to and taking away from it. We now do NOT do this, but as stated above, we were on a journey and at the time this video was made, we did NOT have this revelation. Thanks for understanding! Shalom.)

Alright, this is my second part of the Shabbat series! It has taken me awhile to make this video, and that is because the Father had a lot more to teach me by confirming His word through His word in my heart! I have been so overwhelmed by HIS teaching through HIS word! He has had me in Isaiah for the past few weeks and the revelation and growth that I have received has been amazing! So, here we go!
Isaiah 56:1-2
Thus says YEHOVAH, “Preserve justice and DO righteousness, for MY SALVATION (ישועה  –  Yeshua) is about to come, and MY Righteousness to be revealed.
How blessed is the man who does this, and the son of man who takes hold of it;  who keeps from profaning the SHABBAT, and keeps his hand from doing evil.”
Right from the start, Isaiah is relaying a message from the Father;
YOU WILL BE BLESSED IF YOU OBSERVE “MY” SHABBAT AND DONT TRANSGRESS “MY” LAW!!!
If we keep reading through the next few verses, we see that the Father also includes the Foreigner in this blessing! He says Let not the Foreigner say God has separated me from Him! but He goes on to say that if the Eunuch and the Foreigner will keep HIS shabbat and forget their own agenda in order to fulfill HIS, they will be HIS!
If we go back to Numbers, chapter 15, we get a glimpse of what Yehovah is saying here.
Verse 15 says,
As for the assembly, there shall be ONE statute for you AND the alien who sojourns with you, a PERPETUAL statute THROUGHOUT your generations; as you are, so shall the alien be before YEHOVAH. There is to be ONE law and  ONE ordinance for you and for the alien who sojourns with you.
In the hebrew Tanakh, verse 16 starts out with two words, Torah Echad, this means ONE LAW! the Torah is the first 5 books of our Bibles and it includes how we should conduct ourselves in our daily lives as well as how we should WORSHIP the Father!! The problem is this, the christian church, as it always has done since its birth, has thrown out the Torah, in the name of Jesus, saying he did away with it.
I heard a quote once, it said, “Jesus would have been killed by the christian crusaders in HIS OWN NAME because HE WOULD NOT HAVE FORSAKEN THE SHABBAT!” As sad as that sounds, it is the absolute truth! All throughout His word, He says, “DO NOT PROFANE MY SHABBAT!” but we are so caught up in lies that we can have sabbath whenever we want! The problem with the idea that I can observe shabbat how I want is this, IT MAKES IT MY SHABBAT AND NOT HIS! His shabbat is lined out VERY specifically in HIS word! Mans shabbat is lined out very specifically in MANS word.
Constantine said this in 321 AD,
“On the venerable day of the SUN let the magistrates and people residing in cities rest, and let all workshops be closed. In the country, however, persons engaged in agriculture may FREELY and LAWFULLY continue in their pursuits; because it often happens that another day is not so suitable for grain sowing or vine planting; lest by neglecting the proper moment for such operations the bounty of Heaven should be lost.”
Lets test that statement with Scripture,
Leviticus 23

“For in six days work may be done, but on THE seventh day there is a shabbat of COMPLETE rest, a holy convocation. You shall NOT DO ANY WORK; it is a shabbat to YEHOVAH in all your dwellings.”
Exodus 34:21

“You shall work six days, but on the seventh day you shall rest; EVEN DURING PLOWING TIME and HARVEST you shall rest.”
Exodus 31:12-13

Yehovah spoke to Moses saying, “But as for you, speak to the sons of Israel saying, You shall surely observe MY shabbats; for this is a sign between Me and you throughout your generations that I AM YEHOVAH who sanctifies you.”
The interesting thing about Constantine’s statement is that he said it was Lawful to do work on the shabbat! Its not coincidence that the council of LAODICEA outlawed the Biblical Shabbat in 363!
The common misconception is that sabbath is a “Jewish” thing. The problem with that statement is the fact that not all Israelites were Jews! Not to mention everywhere God commands Shabbat to be observed He says “MY SHABBAT” not Jewish or Your shabbat, but MY SHABBAT.
It is time for the church to wake up and come OUT of man made tradition and doctrine! His doctrine is the ONLY true doctrine and our bibles tell us what HIS doctrine is! HIS TORAH.
The christian church worships on sunday in direct submission to the Roman Catholic Church, as well as all of the Holidays they celebrate. Its time for those who are truly hearing the Voice of Yehovah to stand against cultures schemes to distract us from serving the one true God. We must NOT take part in Satan’s holidays in any way or fashion! His word makes it very clear!
“Well Mitch, we’re under the new covenant and we don’t have to worry about all those “Laws” anymore and just be led by the spirit!”
I beg to differ! Lets let the Scripture define the new covenant and being led by the spirit!
Jeremiah 31:31-34

“Behold, days are coming,” declares the Lord, “when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah, not like the covenant which I made with their fathers in the day I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt, My covenant which they broke, although I was a husband to them,” declares the Lord. “But this is the covenant which I will make with the house of Israel after those days,” declares the Lord, “I will put My law within them and on their heart I will write it; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people. They will not teach again, each man his neighbor and each man his brother, saying, ‘Know the Lord,’ for they will all know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them,” declares the Lord, “for I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin I will remember no more.” (Jeremiah 31:31-34 NASB)
Lets look at another verse,
Ezekiel 36:24-27

For I will take you from the nations, gather you from all the lands and bring you into your own land. Then I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean; I will cleanse you from all your filthiness and from all your idols. Moreover, I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; and I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will be careful to observe My ordinances. (Ezekiel 36:24-27 NASB)
and one more
Isaiah 59:21

“As for Me, this is My covenant with them,” says the Lord : “My Spirit which is upon you, and My words which I have put in your mouth shall not depart from your mouth, nor from the mouth of your offspring, nor from the mouth of your offspring’s offspring,” says the Lord, “from now and forever.” (Isaiah 59:21 NASB)
Scripture makes it VERY clear! we are to observe HIS days, HIS ways, HIS word! Satan since creation has been saying, “Surely God didn’t say that”! We have to expose that lie and SPEAK what YEHOVAH has spoken since LONG AGO! We must stand for the definition Scripture gives for itself and oppose ANYTHING contrary to them!
May you go in His shalom and may you read HIS word and DO what it says! Believing in Him and NOT doing what He says is false relationship with Him, but doing what He says in Faith is true Salvation! Receive not other “Gospel”
Shalom
